Jelly Bean RAZR/MAXX Christmas 2012 Update?

I am running a non-rooted phone and I have noticed some bugs. Not too bad though. Hopefully they will fix some of the bugs. Although 4.2 is supposed to fix the bugs on 4.1 lol. I know this because I have a nexus 7 and it runs on 4.2 which is a lot smoother with no bugs, unlike what I've experienced so far on 4.1 on the RAZR Maxx

Instructions for pulling an OTA update.zip:

• Do NOT install the update! Do these first!
• Be rooted. Option 2 in the DROID RAZR Utility works best.
• Download the Root Explorer app, or the ES File Manager app. (Instructions are for Root Explorer.)
• Open Root Explorer and go to the ~/cache/ directory, which resides on the root directory of the phone '~/'
• Hit the 'Mount R/W' in the corner, if successful will then say 'Mount R/O'
• Copy the update file .zip from the ~/cache/ to your sdcard, external to be safe. External is in ~/mnt/external1/ and Internal is ~/sdcard/.
• Copy over the update file .zip from the sdcard(s) you chose to your computer and upload it.
• You will want to use Voodoo's OTA Rootkeeper before updating. See the above post for how.
• Send me or post a link here to the update and exactly what System Version you were on, and where the update takes you to.
• The community will thank you for your help!

We have 2 RAZR MAXXs at our house and they both show "download suspended. Will resume shortly...". Says the download is 0%. Neither of us got any kind of update notification, which is weird. This has been going on for a couple of hours.

I go not my albums and it shows 100 pics of random things I had and that's it. I looked at my storage and it says I only have 123 mb of pics and videos. What else would they name it? I'm furious right now that's a year of memories I've lost.

Have you tried plugging your phone into your computer and exploring your files that way? To see if they've been moved or something? Search your entire phone for .jpg and see if they come up.

If your pictures actually got deleted... try downloading TuneUp Utilities for your computer. It has a Recovery program built into it. I've recovered plenty of files that have been previous deleted on my hard drive with this, even from years ago, because nothing really ever stays deleted forever unless you go through the right motions. So, you could USB hook up your phone to your computer, then try running the Recovery option for your phone's hard drive. See if you get any pics back. I've done it before. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

What kind of bugs

If I use the favorite contacts widget, non of my contacts have their pictures anymore. But when I go under my directory, they do. Also, some verizon processes have failed to load upon start up. Not sure which ones, just background ones I suppose. One good thing though, although it is slower I initially upon start up, over all it does run faster than ICS. And I love Google Now which I been using on my tablet for a while.

I just received the update message too. It said upgrade "98.72.8.en.us". I have no idea what it is. I cancelled it.

Yea, I did a check for updates and 98.72.8 showed up and when I clicked download the download failed. Now when I check for updates it says my phobe is up-to-date.

Just updated, seems running smoother than before. But I couldn't find stock weather widget anymore, has that been removed in jelly bean?
