Verizon probably told Motorola to turn it off I wouldn't be surprise.

I read mixed reports on various sights...some say it has the nfc chip and some say it doesn't. That really sucks if it doesn't... that's one if the main reasons I want jb.
NFC chips suppose to be enable for android 4.0 os. On phone with hardware supportive like xperia ion, atrix hd,droid RAZR HD,m and galaxy s 2,3 and note line. Of course nexus line from( nexus s) AND up also.

This article on engadget.com stated that a teardown of the Razr revealed an NFC controller chip is present but it was not enabled.

I went ahead and installed JB from the page I was linked to a few days ago, somewhere on page 13 of this thread, I believe. Prior to beginning this process, I was trying to find a way to not FDR my phone, but I ended up doing this, more or less when I re-installed .211 and wiped my data from the (I think it's called a) console screen. That's also considered a FDR, right?
Seems like they're finding a way to cram more stuff onto the screen and make icons tinier. If I wanted this, I would've just gotten an iPhone. My large hands told me otherwise. I miss GB for this reason. When I find myself choosing which app to go with when I press buttons and tap others on the screen, there's no longer a checkbox. It splits that section of the screen into Always and Just Once.
For those that were able to capture the OTA update (on Dec. 24 I think?), I imagine that if the final version of JB is any different than what you all got then, there will be another update, or you'll be able to do a full reinstall JB. I'll worry about that then.
Thank you for correcting me in getting my "matt"'s straight (in regards to who does the 1.82 tool and previous versions). I get the two confused.
Last night, from the Google Play Store, I reinstalled all of the apps I wanted to have reinstalled on my phone, ignoring all launchers except the GO Launchers. I tried Apex and Nova, didn't like them. I'm noticing though, Google Now seems to have a few features of my GO Launcher built in.
I actually like adw launcher better. Motorola is doing better job on jelly bean then Sony. Sony said screw 2011 phones with jelly bean. Unlike moto and I feel like droid razr from 2011 is more stockish then droid RAZR HD/maxx
