You'll likely get an ICS bugfix once the Bionic gets ICS (our ICS builds have fixed most of the issues you folks are having) - since Moto has moved to a "unified build" philosophy, this should be easy. I expect that once that is complete, a "unified build" of JB will go into development for the Bionic/RAZR/MAXX/D4 family of devices and if the "unified build" actually works as intended, all of these devices should receive a JB update in a timely fashion. From what I've seen lately, this seems to be something Moto/Google is pushing VERY hard for (read: demanding).

There were a few that were not so lucky and had to return phones or do a few additional fdr's to solve their ICS bugs/problems.

Jelly Bean is the next operating system update. It is very similar to ICS with some added features. The upgrade to jellybean will not be as drastic as the change going from gingerbread (the previous OS) to ICS.

I would like to also remind people that there are many members that are new to Android and with the many new releases of Android phones, there will continue to be members who are owning an Android phone for the first time and don't understand everything "Android" like those who have had Android for years. This forum is meant for all...those new to Android and those that know a lot about Android. It is what makes this forum successful and advances the success of Android in general. I personally like the success of Android and want to continue to encourage that success. With that idea in mind, it is the purpose of this forum to help everyone be successful with their Android phones and to answer their questions to the best of our ability so that they can experience the same kind of success we've had.

IMO, the ICS update has been pretty smooth as a whole. I remember when the Droid X had updates and it seemed like there were huge amounts of bugs. For the Razr it has basically been "I don't like the way it looks" or "this feature is no longer here."

Bring on JB (although I'm not gonna hold my breath).

For the first 4 months gb WAS a step back from froyo lol.

All jb is is an add on to ics. The only hold up could be getting ics working correctly, because if they don't.. then the jb experience will be greatly diminished. Which would suuuuck.

Thanks bruben! I wasn't even aware of a "like" option because I always used my phone or tablet to read the forum... until one time FoxKat and SallyC were talking about "likes." I chimed in that it wasn't possible from the phone app and FoxKat taught me about the open browser feature in settings. I wish we would get "that is funny"..."thanks"... and "I agree" in addition to "like" on this forum.

Yeah, that isn't necessarily so easy either. You have to sign in (I've learned to keep myself signed in) and then you have to tap on the post so it actually shows the like link, then tap the like link. So when you go to "like" from the app, you really have to want to "like," lol!

Woo Hoo! I'm honored! I think my first like was for FoxKat or SallyC or 94lt1.
