I could be wrong on this, but if you remove the battery for a a few seconds and put it back in does that not kick the phone on?
I do not think it does, I will give it a shot later today though. Thanks for the tip.

Unfortunately that did not work. I plugged it in and it brings up the Motorola symbol then turns back off.
