    Root 2.3.6 Gingerbread Droid Razr Maxx Mac Success!

    Well after a few different attempts of rooting my phone this following link was able to do it... ON A MAC!

    The other methods probably work as I may have been doing it wrong... but this was as easy as easy can be.
