How does one root the droid razr maxx and I have a few questions .

First off I'd like to know how does one root the droid razr maxx?
secondly is it easy or hard?
Is it like the android version of the iphone jailbreak?
what can you do when you root your droid razr?

Also the roms for maxx are same as the RAZR.

So im coming in here real late, but I have been trying to root my droid razr maxx 4.0.4 for hrs now.... I need help I dont know what im doin.. If someone could give me step by step and just explain a bit better I'd be so grateful...

MAn I have been for hrs trying to do this w/ my phone.. Im so confused not sure what Im suposse to be downloading so Im downloading everything but what I need i think. Then my files wont open. I have to be doin this all wrong.. I need Help like step by step If anyone could help id be so grateful
