I called Verizon because I was having trouble with my X2. They told me they had a special for people in my area that would allow them to upgrade early for free to a 4g phone to reduce the traffic on the 3g network. I chose the Maxx and like I said before I was also allowed to pick an accessory of my choice for free. I chose the Scosche fitness bundle (probably would have picked something better if I had more time to think about it). I'm still confused as to why because there is no 4g where I live and likely won't be for some time. Call them, talk to them and explain your concerns, be humble but express you're frustration, make sure you tell whoever you are on the phone with that you have nothing against them personally. Ask to speak to a supervisior. If you're persistent and respectful, they will eventually help you.

I may try calling them one last time today. If i don't get anywhere i'll just wait it out. If the tiered plan drops in the meantime I will go over to sprint for unlimited when my contract ends. I dont want to but that's just the way it is.
