    Just talked to someone at verizon and they said everyone is still able to grandfather their unlimited plan... but get it while it's hot! Bcuz we don't know how long this will last.

    Was talking about current customers of course. Sorry I now read the full title. Thought it was the base price period. My bad...

    No, there are no unlimited plans for new customers.

    So after the 30$ upgrade fee its going to be 199.99$? Not to much of a deal yet.

    I honestly keep looking for something to drop from Moto, and soon. I hope its something juicy.

    Actually I believe for upgrades, it's still 199.00 PLUS the new upgrade fee of $30. The information the OP was referring to was for NEW customers, NEW activations.

    I think it is decent bcuz the MAXX comes with a 16 GB sd card stock where the RAZR doesnt....

    If you are a new customer or if this is a new line (not an upgrade), then you can call them or go to store and they will honor the lower price... most likely by crediting your account. That's how they did it for us on my son's rezound. I think they do this up to 30 days after purchase but could be up to 14 days.
