WOW the battery life of this phone is amazing! I can't wait to see what I get. I keep my screen at the lowest setting(can't stand it bright). I was thinking 6-7hrs of screen time would take your battery down pretty fast. Can't wait to get my phone tomorrow and see what I get!

I swear by Juice Defender Ultimate. Smart Actions are a joke. Their (Motorola's) idea of disabling data is either with the display off or motion detection. With motion detection as long as the phone sees movement the data stays on. If you try and just use the screen off feature then data will shut off when trying to use internet radio with the display off. Or everytime I turn the screen on to check my calls, texts, etc data turns on. Even if all I'm doing is checking the time. JD has settings to white list apps and allow them to run with the display off. But when those apps are not running it turns the data off and keeps it off til screen is unlocked. So time can be checked. Its saved my battery. Before I too was getting 6 hrs maybe from the phone. Now ... well look for yourself.

13hrs and that's with JD? Not very impressive. I have tasker if need be (just haven't decided it was needed)

Hope no one thinks I am not the least bit happy with this battery, that's far from the truth.

My phone's been off 9 hrs and I'm at 91%. But I don't have the Maxx, just the plain old DROID RAZR.

Seriously, what are you looking for? The gas tank in my car is empty after I drive it 350 miles, every time! It doesn't matter if I drive 350 miles in 6 hours or 2 weeks, it's still empty after 350 miles.

I have the RAZR and can drain the battery to 50% by playing angry birds for 2 hrs staight...what does this mean? Angry birds uses lots of energy...but I still play...I just charge my phone more...battery life is all in how you use the phone. I met a person with a RAZR and he goes 2 days without charging. I asked how he used the phone...he just makes calls and txt...light usage. I didn't use my phone all day...to busy working ...got home 10 hrs later...90% battery left. You can kill you battery playing angry birds for 4 hrs...maxx might last 6...the game is demanding keeping screen lit constantly. Could I get better battery life? Yes I could turn down brightness, etc...but I like the screen bright. Want your phone to last days between charges ...just use it as a phone...no games...browsing ...etc...I like using mine to do whatever I want anytime ...thus I have to charge it more...juice defender sounds nice but my angry bird marathons will still kill my battery ...I might check it out though.

I totally agree, rdgxray. I can really drain my battery with high screen on time, gps usage or various other things.

Like you, I don't really care too much. I am usually around a charger if I need one.

This is a great phone whether it goes all day without a charge or not.
