The camera isn't the best but its more than enough for what I use my phone camera for. I've had this for 2 years and I've taken 250 photos and maybe a couple dozen videos. How is the front camera, I didn't think about that in the store while stopping myself from buying a maxx hd?

If I plan on taking high quality photographs I use a camera but a camera phone is good for those spur of the moment pictures

I use my phone's camera for work (conducting home inspections), so a decent camera is pretty important. I've been playing with the Maxx HD since I got it yesterday and I am very pleased. I definitely notice a difference over the regular Maxx.
Took this in pretty low light. Looks good enough for me
This phone will work just fine in those dark attics and crawl spaces LOL

I agree but I've stopped taking my samsung dedicated camera with me since I got the S3. The camera is good enough that I don't bother having to lug around a dedicated device.. And how often do you just happen to have a camera with you when you need it... The phone does a great job because it's always on me, so the quality of the camera is very important to me.
