So what is the timeframe on Otterbox and Trident releasing cases for the HDs when they are released? I believe there is a slight size difference so the current Razr/Razr Maxx cases won't fit or am I mistaken?

Verizon rep showed me 3 with lots of bling and was flabbergasted that I wanted it naked--used my droid X for over 2 years naked with not a single scratch...personal choice, I guess
I compared my MAXX HD with my coworkers MAXX and there was a slight size difference - mostly in the bezel. A standard MAXX/RAZR case would cover some of the screen on the new phones and the buttons.Quote:

Yeah, it's very pretty, I just am a bit of a klutz and not sure I want to chance it.

Needing a case bad. Im a trident fan and my phones get treated like stepkids. Been googling for the latest. Found something about mid november. SOMEONE POST UP HERE if you find them.
Ordered a TPU case from Ditztronic the day the phone came out. Case works wonders, nice and thin. I will definitely get an Otterbox when they come out though cause nothing beats those cases when it comes to protection. I guess how fast they make them depends on how popular and how much hype the phone receives for them to justify the time and effort that goes into researching and developing and mass producing them. I think I heard somewhere that Trident won't be making a case for the HD :(
I just got my phone and it fell out of my pocket onto the street and the glass over the Verizon symbol cracked and broke off. Get a case!
