Am I the only one that thinks that Motorola has not changed much on their phones in the last year in a half? I have always had a Motorola phone but lately every time I bought a Motorola phone it did not take me long to realize that every thing on it was the same as my last phone. At least Samsung with their plastic phones tries new things.

Motorola has always been the slowest to adopt newer technology but their phones have been largely stable. Specwise they are never going to be on par but the stability and build quality is phenomenal. The RAZR was by far the most stable GB phone. ICS is a little more difficult to call considering ICS in general is stable.

Motorola is definitely the tortoise. Not saying they're going to win or that there is any "winning" but they definitely play the long game.

I'll get you all some better images. The XT926 does have a strong front screen as i purposely smashed the **** out of it face down on a table and not a scratch. It looks somewhat similar to the device in the xda pics, but not exactly.

does the back looks like recent XDA leaks (light gray squares) or looks like the previous leaks (dark slanted V lines shapes)?

RAZR MAXX: Large battery, Smart Actions, relatively thin. ICS
RAZR: Thin, 1.2 GHZ processor, Smart Actions, ICS
BIONIC: Removable battery, GB, 1 GHZ processor,
DROID 4: Qwerty keyboard, 1.2 GHZ processor, GB

The Droid 4 has a larger battery than any previous Droid. The Razr added a coating of water protection over all the internals.

I think Motorola has done a good job with their phones. Some moves may have been questionable but they at least don't release phone after phone with terrible battery life or have a terrible track record for releasing updates. Also, the Razr HD is not a small step forward. The S4, even with "only" two cores and the Adreno 225 (as opposed to 320), is still a huge leap forward from what all phones had last year. It's better for most, if not all tasks, than the Tegra 3 and it uses less power than any other processor out there including the Tegra 3 and quad-core Exynos. So we're still looking at a great new phone from Moto and I wouldn't hesitate to jump at it if Samsung hadn't upped the game with 2GB of RAM.

Do keep in mind that the could be hearing leaked info on the international version of the Vanquish which may only have 1GB of RAM compared to 2GB for the North American version. If you say that doesn't make any sense, you're right, but that's exactly what Samsung did! We may still be in for a real treat!
