    Error Updating

    I got Jellybean pushed to me and I downloaded it. Now when I go to update it tells me my update failed. I had been rooted once before and had difficulty unrooting but I don't know why that should affect the install. Any thoughts?

    Did you succeed in going back to stock (unrooting) before you installed Jb.?

    I believe that I did yet I used a terminal emulator and it gave me the $ sign instead of the pound sign. Before you posted here, I did a FDR from the recovery screen and then flashed the ICS thing so it is now functional, but every terminal emulator gives me the $. I updated to JB right after that and it worked. But not sure if I got the whole root out of my phone.
