09-13-2012 10:10 PMYeah that is stupid on their part. They're the ones offering it with unlocked bootloaders (which they should be doing in the first place), so they should give some sort of warranty. It's their responsibility.

The Unlock tool now supports both phones as well. So you can buy it locked and unlock later if you choose.

09-13-2012 10:25 PMThe only thing about that is the vzw troubleshooting app... I haven't seen it used yet.. but I think its a way for vzw to see if you've unlocked your device.

09-13-2012 10:33 PMI'm sure someone will come up with a way to unlock the phone without Verizon or Motorola catching wind of it. I'm just hoping this will silence all of the "Unlock the Bootloaders!" people on Motorola's Facebook. Lol at least they're finally offering us this option.
