    Razr Maxx Rooting 4.0.4

    I have a maxx that has 4.0.4 already OTA from verizon, what is the best way of rooting and safest?

    Matt's Utility Version 1.8 ...

    Download it to your PC, extract the utility to it's own folder on your computer, and run the utility from within the folder with your phone connected via the USB cable.

    Make sure USB debugging is enabled and your phone is set to "Media Device"

    Select option 2 ... Ice Cream Sandwich Root 4.0.4

    You can find the utility here >>> Droid RAZR Utility 1.8

    I    t will probably take longer to download the utility than it will to actually root your phone.
    So MattyP how do you get all the ladies??

    Yep the drivers are in a folder called "Drivers (REQUIRED)" in the .zip file ...

    ROMs I can't help ya with, I have never once flashed a ROM. But there are several threads about various ROMs, or someone else can weigh in on that subject.

    Chuck if you do a Google search for GSM Razr Utility you will see one that you can use, this one is for CDMA only.
