    new razr help please

    Had my razr rooted but I just got a new razr through insurance cause mine broke. How do I root it if it is already on 4.0.4? I cant get the razr utility 1.7 to work...

    Can try the 1.81 utility with the latest Motorola drivers to see if rooting will work.

    Not sure about the SD card not working I am guessing you tried removing it and putting it back in?

    What problems are you seeing with the 1.7 utility?

    I took the card out of the old phone and out it in the new one.

    utility is tell me cannot find path specified

    Does your phone have USB debugging on and install applications from unknown source?

    Plugged into computer with factory cable and on MTP mode? As well as having all the files from the utility extracted to the root of your C: drive?

    Do you still have the other utility running? Make sure and close all of them out before running the 1.81.
