If you google, there's already a one-click out for Razr ICS.
My recommendation for switching ROMs whether it's to flash a custom ROM or to take an OTA update is to wipe everything, start from a clean slate and root afterward. Since I know most people won't want to do that the easiest way for you to do it is probably just be on stock rooted 6.12.181 and use voodoo to restore root after the OTA.
Getting ready to go back to factory so I can prepare for OTA ICS... Currently on ICS leak now. It's just a matter of enabling USB Debugging, firing up the utility, and using it to go back to factory, correct? Anything I need to be aware of?
You need to put it in AP Fastboot mode, not just turn on debugging.Originally Posted by altjx
Power off the phone and then hold both volume buttons + the power button until you see the screen flash. Let go of the buttons and use the volume down button to scroll to AP Fastboot and then the volume up button to select it. Then use the utility to fastboot to .173
You can go back to either one I guess, you do it the same wayOriginally Posted by altjx
