1. Whenever I get a new computer, I ALWAYS perform a fresh install of Windows to remove all bloatware. I am wondering what the Android equivalent of this is? I see the roms and from what I can tell, roms are a modified version of Android OS without the bloatware. I personally don't care for everything to be modified. In fact, the only "bloatware" that I want to retain is the motorola graphics because I really like them. How would I go about doing this?
2. I assume part of the difficulty here are drivers. When Windows is installed (these days), it comes with all of the drivers necessary for a wide range of hardware support. I'm guessing the same is done with the Android OS because 1) the hardware is changing so quickly, drivers would be difficult to keep up with; and 2) the amount of space it would take up is fairly large and not practical. Can anyone confirm my thoughts on this?
