bad verizon sim card

I turned off the phone (power down), took out the sim card, put it back in, and rebooted the phone, and so far, everything looks good -- about 5 hours later. I did this at about 5pm EST. Maybe they've fixed it.

Thanks everyone for the replies.. I didn't have time to get to Verizon to replace the card but as quickly as the problem came up 2 days later it disappeared. Patience won out. Now if the phone would stop locking up during and after using GPS navigation. I also need to find my clipboard, so when I copy something from email to open up in a browser I can. I found out how tho copy and it says it's on the clipboard but I can't find the clipboard in the browser. Would love to have had an instruction booklet with this phone. Thanks again to the Droid family out there.
