Thoughts on cases and car mounts

Just thought I'd throw a couple of suggestions out there for anyone interested...

First, I purchased the shell/holster combo from Verizon on the day I got my RAZR. I don't use the holster at all (I put my phone in my pocket most of the time), but I find that the shell makes the phone a ton easier to hang onto (due to the more textured, "grippy" back). Plus having the built-in stand is really convenient. I highly recommend it, especially if the phone almost seems a bit too slick (which it did to me). Although I do have to say that it is really sexy outside of it's case...

Regarding a car mount, I got sick of needing to get a new mount every time I got a different phone. I purchased a "generic" arkon mount some time back and it works with every phone I've had. It has sides that are adjustable to hold the phone in place. I think I only paid about $ 10 for it on Amazon. True, the phone won't switch into "dock" mode, but there are apps out there that can do that for you (if you really need it).

I have the otter box. Not bad but a pain to take off the belt clip.

I bought it for use with my iphone 4. When I got the Razr it came with the verizon case and the car mount. Love the car mount but not having to take the phone out each time to put it in the mount.
The Arkon works perfect, and I believe I too paid $10 on amazon. Its plastic and does seem a little cheap but ive had it already for a good 6 months and it hasnt shown any signs of breaking.
