Any updates on CM9/ICS?

Look around. There are other threads about it.
I've been running CM7 on my Droid Pro for a couple months now. When I'm roaming globally with international data off, I am unable to obtain a DSN server through WIFI. This happens when connected to both CDMA and GSM networks. I can connect to programs like Skype, but can't use Google voice, Gmail, Browser, ect. Applications like SetDNS won't work unless I turn on the international data. The only solution I've found is turning on the roaming data then switching to Airplane mode and rebooting. Then I have to leave airplane mode on and turn on WIFI. This let's me get data, but obviously no calls or texts. Sometimes the phone won't enter airplane mode without rebooting as well. Has anyone seen these problems? I've already tried running fixdataswitch.
So I followed the instructions for installing CM7 on my Droid Pro, flashed to the SBF twice, and upgraded to GB. Now where I'm stuck is that when I download the CM7 file, rename it "update.zip" and place on the root of my SD card, when I try to install from it STOCK Recovery mode, it'll always say:
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
What did I do wrong? Did I rename the file incorrectly or something?
U need to install bootstrap 2 first since U are GB. Then boot into bootstrap recovery. See instructions on page 1

I did install bootstrap 2 (and was rooted) so when I clicked on Bootstrap recovery, it said success. Then I clicked Reboot Recovery, and was brought to the ClockworkMod Recovery, I went to mounts and storage, and selected format system, format data, and format cache.
But when I went back and clicked on "install zip from sdcard", and select yes, it unpacks it a little bit, and then has the following error message:
--Installing: SDCARD.update.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
assert failed: run_program("/tmp/check_kernal") == 0
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
What did I do wrong??
I suggest doing SBF again take all updates, root, get to clockwork mod recovery, but this time only select wipe data, wipe cache, then in advanced select wipe dalvik, then install zip from SD
But make a back up first also done in clockwork

Thanks, I'll try that and get back to you all.
Does the CM7 file (1125.zip from the first page) need to be renamed as update.zip, or was that referencing only to the GB or Froyo update?
Yes no need to rename anything
