For some dumb reason, if your phone loses a signal and later gets it back, the data doesn't resume. There's code in the source to resume data after a call is made and it reconnects to data after the call is ended. When this happens to me (once every few weeks) I usually call my voicemail, wait for it to connect, and hang up (it's free)

GSM always. Using unlocked DP. It is like I change about 5 times between 3G and wifi so I have to reboot 5times. Plus another 3times if I need to do anything with choosing an option in the settings. Of course I have always followed your "Fix Permissions" and "Wipe Dalvik Cache" Methods. But you see rebooting always is a problem and a long work around. I tried that thing of calling voice mail to see if data can be restored but it never works until I reboot :(
Shoot. I'm really stuck right now when it comes to gsm as that always causes wifi issues when switching. The tough part is testing out anything I do because I have never used gsm before. Have you tried the apex port in the meantime?

Hey thanks calvin. I am ready to test it in case you have something up your sleeves.
I have no issues with apex rom and was one of first to test it and edit their status bars.
Please let me know if you need any help.
