Jackpot I'm assuming you are waiting until tomorrow to post your update. Any chance we could help you test it today?
I'm having serious battery issues so the sooner I can try the better.
I don't mean to sound pushy, I'm just a bit eager to try.

Sorry for the delay, but here's the LatinIME.apk from the 825 build I was using. I'm back on stock gingerbread so I haven't tried it on the 1005 build yet. I know Jackpot is posting an update soon, but hopefully this can hold people over until then.
LatinIME.apk
Wifi is still not working using the new OTA Gingerbread 4.6.8 as a base for CyanogenMod.
Here is what I did: SBF to stock (2.26.20) and then activate. Then I allowed each of the three OTA updates (2.26.26? 3.8.7? and 4.6.8) to download and install bringing me to Gingerbread with 4.6.8. Then I wiped system, cache and dalvik and installed CyanogenMod 1005 and g-apps.
Wifi works initially but after the first reboot, it fails to connect. I tried turning it off and fixing permissions and rebooting, but it just does not work. Will the new update address this wifi issue (I remember reading about issues that the other Droid CyanogenMods have with wifi as well)?
If you need me to test anything please let me know as I have two Droid Pros (One is my working gingerbread phone and the other is for testing, hacking, etc).![]()
Will i be able t just flash to the new build from 1005 or do i gotta sbf?

Okay if you guys are on the gingerbread kernel (red M logo) but you got there WITHOUT coming from the official OTA (meaning you got there from one of my custom zips), you can still flash the build that I will post later.
HOWEVER it's recommended that you flash back to 3.8.7 and take the OTA
EDIT: I will also upload the stock OTA.zip so you won't have to redownload; you'll just have to rename it to "update.zip" and flash from the stock recovery (power + R + M)
This is recommended because you will have a normal working stock recovery and the newest radio file as well. It's recommended but not required. I posted a link to the 3.8.7 sbf a few pages back.
If you're coming from the stock OTA, you can root, make a clockwork backup of your current set up, then wipe system, data, and cache and apply the zip. You can also advance restore your data too from a previous time you were on cyanogen. If you dislike my builds, you can simply do a full restore of the stock system you just backed up, I won't cry if you do so. However, I do encourage you rename the folder that clockwork just created of your current setup from the date and time to something easier to recognize like OFFICIALOTABACKUP. If you rename your folder, make sure there are no spaces in the name because clockwork doesn't work well with spaces

if you'd like to buy me a beer, you can donate here :P thank you!!
If I understand you correctly, if I do not go back and get the OTA, I will not have the new radio files? So CM7 does not include any new radio files?
