I'm also having the left side of screen clicking issue. Just got it new and had it for about a week. Call me OCD about it, but its so annoying. I just don't wanna be that guy who exchanges his phone because of a small clicky noise. Think its a reasonable thing to exchange it for a new one?
it would appear so.. BUT he's right. lots of people HAVE bought them and HAVE seen improvement in the screen wobble problem. maybe it's a plug, but rightfully so. and i'll add another: go check out his threads for pics and comments to see what i'm talking about!
and done.

My original droid has this loose/clicky screen and I just received a replacement. However, the new Droid Verizon sent me has a warm/pinkish hue to the screen and the haptic buttons at the bottom, along with a couple little knicks on the edges of the phone's plastic. I think I will just keep my original Droid.
It "clicks" each time due to the top part touching the bottom part. Annoying yes, since I text a lot and play games on it which require touch screen. Keyboard is ok, but my fingers find too many wrong buttons
Taking it to Verizon this afternoon.
Ok, got a new droid. Big difference. Let's see how long this last..
I also have this issue. It's really annoying. I went to Verizon store and they said it's from the usage of the phone. I highly doubt it cause I probably used the keyboard like 4 times since I've had the phone and they wouldn't replace it. I'll be going to a different Verizon store. Also I noticed something really shady with the technicians. They went and browsed through my phone and applications. I assume they were checking if my phone was rooted.
ya my first one was loose, but my second one is solid so far

i think i always had the looseness on the end where the soft keys are, and more recently started noticing the tapping of the bottom to the top when pressing the soft keys, usually the back button. My screen is also wobbly as in if i open the slider some, I can then wiggle the screen and it will give both the horizontal and vertical direction, so it has a lot of play in it. Not sure if the snap on case i have caused that or not.
