About LinkBacksI do use it as my default, but change all of the individual apps to my liking. That pretty much leaves Chrome to Phone as the one app that invokes the classic tone.

Some may call it a club, but I prefer the term community. We love our phone because of its capability, not because of what company made it

07-26-2010 11:56 PMI would, but when I switched to Cyanogenmod 6RC-1 (and now 2) they deleted it from my phone. :-( I LOVED THAT NOTIFICATION SOUND!!! I want it back.

Go here, For those that want the "Droid" notification sound - Ben Pike's blog and chrome-to-phone the page link.
Long-press the Droid.ogg link and tell it to Save Link.
Once it's down, go to Astro and navigate to /mnt/sdcard/download and locate Droid.ogg.
Long-press Droid.ogg and select move.
Back out and navigate to /mnt/sdcard/media/audio/notifications and press the menu softkey, select edit, then select paste.
Quit Astro then go to Settings/Sound/Notification Ringtone and viola! there's our missing Droid ringtone, no longer missing.
