Just wondering with all of this locked bootloader stuff coming about, how many people are planning to hold on to their Original Droid and not sell it when they finally do upgrade.
This might be the only phone Motorola ever makes that is completely unlocked and it is definately a keeper.
The only thing that could (possibly) change my mind is if Motorola comes out with a better "Completely Unlocked" phone, and it doesn't look good so far
(unlock the Pro Moto)

07-21-2010 07:10 PMI'm going to keep mine,unless one of the kids talk me out of it.But it will stay in the family. I have had so much fun with it.
Ive bootlooped it and have had some many problems with kernels,and brought it back to life so many times, any other piece of electronics would have died by now. gonna keep it, and wont upgrade until 4G is up and proven in my area. -

It has earned a spot on my Fireplace Mantle after I get the Droid Pro. It's brought me too much fun and joy to discard or give it away. I would, as I have in the past with other phones, loan it short term to a relative, but that's about it.Baton Rouge, LA -
