Without a new clue releasing and the @DroidLanding account taking the entire weekend off from dropping clues, someone still managed to figure out a secret code this morning, unlocking the live and static wallpapers for the special edition R2-D2 Droid 2. Whoever figures out these codes is some kind of Star Wars machine that’s for sure. Like our guy, Andrew Tarr who won the first phone!

09-08-2010 10:24 AMOriginally I commented how Id like it ported over to the Droid v1.. I revoke that comment. Its one thing to do a Star Wars based theme.. its another entirely to drop my phone into a 70s/80s timewarp. I guess I was thinking that despite the star wars theme the graphics would be more current rather than scanning an old poster and doing a bit of photoshop work on it.
*Disclaimer: I tend to speak what pops in my head immediately when it happens. As a result when I type it, the idea sounds great.. more often than not I realize after the fact that I was incorrect or shoot down my own theories. Flaming me does no good as I most likely have done it myself already. -

09-08-2010 11:10 AMI have not been paying much attention to the R2D2 release lately that is changing now. it looks so cool, though I agree with Sweettooth, it will be chick repellent. I can not wait for this stuff to be ported over to the OG Droid. The Hyperspace live wallpaper is SICK!!
It's been a long road to the GNEX!!! But its been worth IT!!
