Okay I have heard that a FF camera will not work on a 3G phone. Is that true? If so then I am guessing you could use the FF Camera on WiFi. I will buy this phone the day it gets released....if a kick butt Droid T2 or Nexus 2 comes out with all the bells and whistles and LTEdown the road, I will sell my DINc HD and use the money to buy the next best thing.

LTE is very tempting, but like some on here I don't live in a area that will offer it until 2012 probably. Plus if i wait these LTE phones will likely have all the battery issues worked out by then!

Sorry I am just a little anxious!!! I am trying to decide. I am so leading toward this phone.. But I am intrigued by the Droid T2!!! Man oh Man decisions!!!!

That is exactly why I am going with 1 year contracts from now on. I have been stuck with the same crappy phone for 2 years, and just now getting to upgrade. Sure, i will have to pay $70 more for a 1yr vs 2yr, but the phone will have more resell value in 1yr vs 2. Even this junky phone I currently have is still going for almost $100 on ebay...

Have you checked to see if you are eligible for the "secret" annual upgrade program? I'm kidding about the secret part mostly. The VZW reps will tell you your status but you just don't read about it on their site. I don't recall all the rules but basically you are eligible for the promo prices after one year of a two-year contract if you are in "good standing" because you pay your bill of something like $60/month or greater. You don't get the free NE2 that way but it is like only getting a one year contract using two year pricing.

If you are on a family plan, and are the main account holder you can upgrade annually as long as your on a specific price plan. The other phones on the account are only eligible every two.

yep exactly... alot of people are not aware of that.. the 2 year thing is just to make sure you dont go to a different carrier so they are nice enough to let you sign another 2 years after 1 year and in exchange let you pick out a handy dandy new phone lol... i would of been doing this on my account if not for my gma having new every 2 credit and she will never use anything more than a flip phone so that is just a plain waste of ne2.. lol

In fact my wife was the main account holder and upgraded her to the BB 9650. I am eligible for an upgrade and as soon as I upgrade I will switch position with her on the account and push her back to new every 2 and I will take over the annual upgrade.

droid T2 looks like a seller the prob is who knows when in Q1 if in Q1 it will hit because its been pretty much confirmed its going to ATT first.. and hopefully the dont inflate LTE phone prices to..

well i guess it depends how well you negotiate or make demands lol... upgraded both phones after a year in the past on the same account.. the key is telling them how its going to be not asking them and unless its too far fetch they will usually make it happen..

Where did you here that it is going to AT&T first? I read that they made a deal with Motorola, but as far as I read it was to extend their contract with each other not that they will be getting the phone 1st.
