HTC Droid Incredble Android 2.2 Update Released

Bummer... would love to use the updated HD recording later today. I wish they would just make it generally available with mirrors. Cannot understand why this cannot be done.

I just told my 2.1 phone to check for updates, and it says I'm up to date.
So how does this work? Do I just wait my turn and they will eventually zap me with a message to update?

My update just appeared at 841am. Had a choice to install now or later. As I understand Verizon rolling out in waves over the next few days. Don't know how it works whether it is geographic or when you got the phone. I got my phone in April, 3 days after it was introduced

I got my Incredible 2 days before it even came out and I have yet to get the update so I don't think it has to do with when you got the phone

No idea how long it going to take. As I said before received mine 8282010 at 8:41 AM.
You have to consider that the Universe is not on Droid Forums so we have know idea how many people have received it and are not reporting it.

I'm outside of Rochester (Henrietta, and there is a major Verizon call center about 2 miles away), so I wonder if they are working East from Buffalo??!!
