Sorry, that's what I meant.
I've used the full install and it seemed to go well. In fact, I didn't get the same error message when I installed the full FRG01B. It now says I have FRG22D.
As for Flash in the Market, how do I search for it? Just "Flash" or what? I get a lot of apps coming up, but how can I zero in on that?
did you guys wipe cache partition or anything before applying this update?
Did that and all I got was Adobe Flash Showcase.
Even by searching under the developer and clearing the cache doesn't help. It says:
Android version
2.2
Broadband version
C_01.43.01P
Kernel version
2.6.32.9-g874c292
android-build@apa26#1
Build number
FRG22D
I downloaded Flash and installed it manually. I just wanted to get it from the Market as I would know about updates.
Not sure this will be of use to most, but I'll report it anyway:
(1) Was running FRG22 (rooted), and got the FRG22D OTA update today.
(2) Accepted the update, which of course failed during SPRecovery.
(3) Did a complete backup. (This is the interesting part) On a whim, I decided to pull the OTA out of cache, rename it to update.zip, and then use SPRecovery to install it.
(4) It installed perfectly; phone rebooted and ran cleanly.
(5) Noticed that I'd lost root. Rebooted into recovery, and SPRecovery was gone too.No kidding, talk about a stock phone!
(6) Turned the phone off, then used RSD Lite to reinstall SPRecovery. Then reinstalled the backup I did in (3).Brought my phone back to FRG22 (rooted).
(7) Now this was odd...out of curiosity, I decided to go into the market and look for Flash, and for the first time it was there. Downloaded and installed.
Of course, I figured that maybe somehow I was still running FRG22D, but when I checked, nope...it was back to FRG22. Maybe Flash is now visible to both versions?

Flash can take up to an hour after a reboot to appear in the market.
If it's still not there you can install it manually. It's the exact same thing. If it does ever appear after that you can install it directly over what you currently have installed, or you can uninstall and reinstall.
Official flash in market?

Thanks. In the meantime I uninstalledthe version I had installed manually and powered off. When I powered back on and went to the Market, Flash was there.
It must be an hour since I had rebooted. Very strange, but good to know. I wanted the Market version as it's easier to see an update.
I encourage people to install from the market because of the update issue.
Just wanted to go on record as saying so.![]()
