I just got off the phone with some relatively clueless reps who didn't know this was being rolled out.
I did find out that you WILL be able to get this if you leave Wi-Fi on like I do.
Mine ends in "0" and I don't have it.

I am guessing they are rolling it out slow also to make sure Verizon's network can handle it as well as the droids not having a problem with it..
It would be a HUGE PR mess if a mass of updates took out Verizon's network, when they are trying to laugh at AT&T's network for being shaky..
True.... so do we have any guys who have gotten the update that can give us some feedback?
Everything seem to still work properly with all your apps etc?

When I called Motorola's CustServ number, the agent asked about my meid - could that be it?
Feedback and responses will be in here:

That would be much more likely since your phone number can be anything now and its not even the real number that identifies your phone.
If you go into programming, you also have a CDMA sys ID .. mine is 4 digits
and then there is a MIN number which is a phone number thats not mine but thats the real one for the phone I believe.

Too cool... faster than it already was "and" better battery life!..... too cool!
BTW.... this would be the best place to post the update.zip if anyone gets it intact.
