Verizion has said it as has Moto just not the date........please think and read a bit..The Droid will get 2.2 as well as 3.3 (gingerbread)...

3.3??? I just put 2.2 on my Droid lol....i have to say so far I'm loving Froyo I hope they make the Droid 2 customizable (rootable) like they did with the original.

Would it be worth keeping the Droid if it had 3.3? For me it would depend on if the updates all happened this year because a newer Droid running on 4G really sounds good to me!
