anyone else have a problem since the update with not being able to put their phone on silent? My phone now only goes as low as vibrate if i use the side button to control ring tone.

Does the 2.2 update allow USB tethering or is that an extra pay service you have to get?

The speakerphone volume on my DroidX is loud enough accept when driving at freeway speeds. The HTC Eris was much better when on the freeway.

Rooting does pave the way to utilize functions not allowed on stock/oem ROMs.

After rooting, the easiest way to utilize the wireless tethering is to go here and download the latest for your phone:

I still have yet to recieve the update and wanted to know if others are out there. I purchased my Droid Incredible back in April.

I received some message several weeks back and took it to the store to show them and they said it was not the update.
