I hate to sound nasty but any of these tools who have posted the pics could've saved the update.zip first.
If you get the triangle notification, then the zip is already on your Droid.
Decline, do it later.
Mount, and copy update.zip from SD card root to your PC.
Unmount and reboot Droid (simple wasn't it?)
Tools in my book.....

Sounds like 3 screens still, I hope there is an option for 5. With all the new google widgets taking up a lot of screen space, it seems like 5 would be required for 2.1 and beyond.

Well, you gotta remember that most people aren't thinking this is any big deal. And quite honestly I wouldn't know what to do with it without directions. If I get it, and of course I won't I'll post it.
Now my wife's Droid is sitting there waiting for her to set it up when she gets home. I'm dying to see what OS she has.

remove anything?
Been running helix with 7 screens. Do I need to go back to plain old stock before the update?
-
Can someone get the URL of the update from the logs, so we can download it directly?

If it reaches a person on this forum I think it will be safe enough to do this. But can you imagine if the update 2 weeks ago was released to the public? how many phones would be bricked? 100k?

I don't know what you guys do with all that screen. I barely use 1 1/2 screens.
