Android 2.1 Update Rolls Out For Motorola Droid!

Someone mentioned about rolling out the update in the relative order the phones were purchased and activated. It makes me curious just how exactly they ARE rolling it out, specifically in the US. I wonder if broken down into blocks of numbers on a server and they go through one server at a time which equates to X number of random people.

I wish i remember where, but i read it goes out based on Serial Number... Which makes sense...

I dont know... April 1...just seems too coincidental.

It also happens to be the begining of Q2. At some point I read that VZW had announced 2.1 would be out Q-1, so I think the April Fools is just coincidence.
