Tried to install and it wldnt install. Maybe that is the bug? Ill try it on my friends non rooted droid.

That is interesting...It downloaded but wouldn't work. That could mean the push has an incomplete executable...that would make sense on the hold up. Hopefully that means a pretty quick fix

Why don't they just let Google post it on their developer site? Put up a disclaimer and simple instructions, "For Advanced Users Only - At your Own Risk", and announce that an OTA would occur at some other arbitrary-penciled- in date. Then work out the distribution problems on their own clock?

If Google wanted, they could place a few ads on the download page - make a few bucks, and we'd all have the latest and greatest update.

What I can't understand at this point is that with the supposed pre releases crap that no one has gotten a hold of the update.zip already for this.

I do not hold true that it isn't out there or leaked somewhere ...

It could be another "oops! The update.zip got online and spread like wildfire" moments, but in a good way, for if it is a distribution issue - then the update itself has none! (that we know of, unless they are blowin smoke yet again).

If you look at the screen shot at BGR and see the pointer and the "t" to the left (see attached picture) the "t" is on top of the pointer.

I don't think so. I think what you're seeing is just fuzziness due to jpg compression.
