Whatever happened to the guy who was so upset at us for speculating that he was wrong when his neighbor who worked at Corporate Verizon told him the update was going out on Monday?

Anybody heard from him?

He fessed up in the other thread and said his neighbor was bloin smoke!!

I noticed that as well. Kellex misunderstood what Leandro was saying. Folks, there is way too much "reading between the lines" with this whole 2.1 update.

Out here in "Droid Land" everyone is looking for either the conspiracy, or trying to uncover the "secret", or parsing every word that comes from a rep from either company, looking for the hidden meaning The facts are in plain sight, and there are those who choose not to see them. For all of their hard work, and patience, the Moto, and VZW reps have got to be fed up with questions about 2.1. They know about as much as we do, or, if they do know more, they are not telling us.

I'm amazed by this thread.

First Ill say that Im interested in the improvements in 2.1 as I understand them. Having said that, I dont NEED any of them as my Droid does what I bought it to do - better than I expected. So IMHO, I have no interest in receiving an update that creates new problems that I dont have today, since the device works fine today.

Sorry for cropping your post here but that's dead on. My phone works fine. I'm sure I'll enjoy new features when they're ready.

Rather have them work the bugs out before the update. I'll probably put off updating as long as I can until I see if others have problems with it.

In the meantime, enjoy your Droid!
