ok guys my phone keeps Force Closing!! I can't even use it... every time helix closes it opens right back up ( hence my home button is set to use helix ) so i am screwed!! is there any backdoor to the application manager??

All I can say is now i'm happy, rumming DroidMod 1.0 and this is smooth and has not slowed the phone down like any of the other replacement homes. Running SetCPU at 1000 and wow just wow...... Thanks devs.... Just another of the 1001 reasons to have a Droid over the IToy

hook you phone up to the computer and using ADB delete the HelixLauncher from the phone.

So it wont load a front screen at all? You can try to push the regular launcher to your /system/app folder and it should restart it for you. It would take some very basic work in command prompt. Are you rooted?

So you mean helix is force closing, then opening, then force closing?

If thats the case you could try removing the .apk via adb shell OR if you are not rooted, go into safe mode and remove the program:

This helix launcher looks like an exact copy of koushs ruqqq's 0.5 Launcher2. One button in the middle, works with live wallpapers, has shortcuts at the bottom, can have 1 to 7 screens..... only thing I think is different and I don't know for sure since I haven't used helix (just seeing pics and reading what people say) is that the one koush uses has the 3d effect and I heard helix does not, i'm not sure.

grrr i hate when i copy something and paste all my text turns into the same font / size style.... didn't mean to bold the first part lol.

Koushs doesn't work with ese53 roms. The 3d scroller doesn't work with them to be precise. I asked faruq about adding this to his and he said more or less it isn't going to happen because of the way it needs to be built. The helix launcher doesn't install to /system/app either. They are two different things. I am not sure when koush came out with his launcher that looked like this but I suppose it doesn't matter.
