My tour decided to go diving, and since I didn't have insurance (thought I did...) the manager at the vzw store offered me the 1 year upgrade price since I probly woulda gone to another company otherwise. It was worth it tho

VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player
The droid is running on linux. There are linux versions of vlc. The gui might be an issue. The memory space might be too.

The VideoLAN Forums • View topic - VLC in Android (posts from 2008 hoping to have this ported within 2 months....then the latest post is Feb 10, 2010) Anyone wanting to dev VLC might want to contact that guy. He's been around for a while and still visited those threads...maybe pass that info to Zot, mustang? Although...he probably already uses those resources

03-08-2010 07:33 AMlike i said im in contact with zod. i know him since his development for palm os. we were in the same palm forum. and he wrote some good apps like his name giving open transport tycon port for palm OTTD. cause of the sucess of this port he build his nickname zodttd. he like the idea of developing apps for android. but he hadnt got much feedback from the android community till now, so he thought his work isnt very important for our system. the goal of this petition is simply to proof him otherwise. hes interested, like i said, and if he sees there are many guys interested in his work he sure will help us.
