Sony Branded Phone sans Ericsson, Cameo Appearance in New Resident Evil Movie Trailer

The new "Resident Evil: Retribution" movie trailer teased more than the usual apocalyptic action sequences starring Milla Jovavich. During the first 10 seconds of the trailer, we are treated to a cameo appearance of a Sony branded phone without the Ericsson logo, and it looks suspiciously like some of the newer Xperia line of phones. There is speculation that it could be the new Xperia Arc, but could also just be a Hollywood prop.

Even if it is just an artist's rendition, it makes for a great excuse to post the trailer for this movie in the news section. Regardless of whether you could call these movies "good" or not, who doesn't like to watch the gorgeous Milla Jovavich kicking arse and blowing stuff up?

Somewhat off subject but they really went to another planet with the Resident Evil series. How do we go from walking around an old, scary mansion, fighting off the living dead with whatever weapons you can scrounge to...superpowers, underground cults, off the wall acrobatic roundhouse moves? So much for Resident Evil being a horror movie; more like Die Hard meets a Jet Li movie with sexy women and zombies...wait...brilliant!
