Now that the Motorola Droid 4 was officially announced at CES, the venerable Droid 3 just received a price drop over at Verizon. You can now pick up the device for $99.99 on a new contract. Of course, Amazon has the device on a "tiny bit" better special. You can get the Droid 3 for only a single cent on a new contract, or only $19.99 on a renewed contract. Still, we knew this would happen at some point; although it's mildly surprising it happened before the Droid 4 is even on the market. A ton of folks are fans of the Droid 3. If you don't care about 4G LTE, or can't get it in your area, these are great deals.
