Motorola Milestone is Germany's Motorola Droid

BGR has just broke news with details that the Motorola Droid will be available in Germany under the name Motorola Milestone. The Droid aka Milestone will be released on Germany's 02 network. Photos of the new device were seen on their website so we know this is more then a rumor now. The wireless carrier shows the new phone selling at 404.20€ or $594.93 USD before taxes (and subsidies).

So for those that want this Android 2.0 smartphone but not willing to switch to Verizon, you now have options.

It is GSM but does it have the right frequencies to run on American GSM with 3G? I dont know what frequencies we use compared to what this phone can use. If I remember correctly 2 GSM phones have passed through the FCC and one wont work with 3G in America.
