My upgrade date is coming up Feb. 4th and I've decided on the Droid. I was under the impression I'd have to pay the $149 for it ($199 plan price minus $50 New Every 2 credit). How can I get it for $99?

Will i still be able to try the phone out for 30 days without fear of not being able to return it?(HIGHLY unlikely that i would want to return it, but w/e), and also, would i be able to purchase insurance thru verizon? The old NE2 was worth $100. The new credit is only $50. From what I was told yesterday when I ordered my Droid, when you renew your contract, you lose the $100 NE2.
