Vizio Via Phone Specs Officially Released

The first of Vizio's offerings in the Android world are showing up, and the official specifications for their Android powered phone, the Vizio Via, have been released. Here are some of the tasty highlights:

• Capacitive 4" multi-touch touchscreen with 480x854 Resolution
• Andorid 2.2 OS
• 1GHz Processor
• 5 Megapixel Camera with Flash
• Video Capture = 1280x720 (720p HD)
• Additional Front-facing 0.3 Megapixel VGA camera
• 2GB storage Memory with additional microSD expansion slot
• HDMI Port

Those are some pretty impressive specs for Vizio's first smartphone. If we get lucky, and are able to couple that with Vizio's infamous aggressive pricing model (cheap prices), then we will have a pretty hot deal.

Surprisingly, I am pretty impressed with these specs as well. I was not expecting an HDMI port on this phone! Job well done Vizio!
