I think you meant any other device then the Droid. I know it works on the Droid.

quick question, when i go to my apps drawer and click on DMupdater. it says i need to update my image recovery(or something like that). do i need to do this? the only thats scares me is that its makes you confirm it twice and it also says its not recommend.

They put that in there as a joke basically. It's not recommended you hack your phone, but we do it anyways. That's all. If you're not on the most current version of SPRecovery (0.99.3b) then you should update it.
