    using different kernals

    ok I got some questions about using different kernals....right now I'm rooted and using the bugless rom....the problem that I'm having is trying to get this phone to run cool. I first used bekits 800mhz rom and found that I would hit the failsafe in 10mins using the internet....switched to chevys 1000mhz lv kernal and my idle temps are cooler but I hit the failsafe in 15mins of constant usage now. so does that mean I need to try a high voltage kernal now??? and will that cause me to drain the battery quicker??? the battery temp never goes above 45c but the phone does like to get into the high 40s when I'm using a app.
