Any info on an update?

I was wondering if anyone here had any insider knowledge of when the new droid mod project will actually be released? I love droid mod but it's getting old and i'm getting tempted to try out some new roms. I'm tryin to hold out but I don't know how much longer it will last.

well I dont have any info but i do recommend trying different rom's..

personally DM is so outdated its not worth sticking with. there are (in my opinion) much better ROMS out there

thats what im beginning to think. ive been looking at a few of the newer roms. I know DroidMod is outdated but its been really stable and has worked great.

I was and still am a DroidMod fan, but with the lack of updates I decided to try Cyanogen as well as Pete's Bugless Beast.

Cyanogen was no better than DroidMod, but I am very happy with Bugless.

Fast, stable, no overheating. Great support on the boards. Cool NexOne theme.

I will try a new DroidMod update when it happens, but the reason I rooted was so I could choose which ROM to run. I will also try 2.2 if it comes to the Droid.

i cant wait to see droid mod 2.0 it will be sick and from what i here there planing to realease soon. in june i believe it was. right after the google i/o i think.... hmmmmm.....
right after they announce all the official stuff for froyo.... hmmm.... quite conspicuous....

of course im just kidding with all the ..... stuff but it is planned to be released after the google I/O
