I'm showing the device as connected model SE Flash OMAP3430MI (I've got a motorola driod).

I'm in the bootloader scree, but the "Start" button is shaded and unable to be selected.

Has anyone else seen this? (OS Windows 7 64 bit) Don't think it's the OS as others have done this on windows 7.

Also the RSD Lite v4.6 is being run as administrator I changed it in the properties to insure that I always open it as admin...
Yes, for some reason, my Droid showed up as "SE Flas..." for whatever reason (I would've thought "Droid" or "A855" or something similar would've appeared *shrugs*), but that is it. I just did it last night with zero problems. Just be sure to follow the instructions especially steps 9 and 10 if you are doing the detailed instructions; which is what I did because I'm new to Android programming, and never had to root something like FRG22D (if you've never rooted before, rooting 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.1, the 299,792,458 builds of Froyo that aren't FRG22D, require less work, but it isn't hard to root FRG22D either, it takes longer to read the instructions than it does to root it.) Good luck!

You still need the motorola USB driver to talk to the device.

Haven't seen it yet -- if there even is one. At some point I'll probably build my own, but a authoritatively signed one would be nice for folks with stock recovery.
Isn't the first link off rootzwiki Motorola Droid containing the full sbf for FRG22D? The file I got off from it VZW_A855_FRG22D_QSC6085BP_C_01.43.01P_SW_UPDATE_01 .sbf looks like it.

SBF, yes, master OTA, no. That is the "full flash" SBF -- which is a great file to have -- hold on to it -- but if a "master OTA" (an update.zip type file of the entire install) exists I'd like to add it to the collection.
Droid 1 - the "unbrickable" droid.
    FRG22D - stock, rooted, ChevyNo1 LV 1.1GHz kernel, SetCPU 2.0.2, Superuser 2.3.6.1

Droid X, Droid 2, Droid 2 Global (Band Unlocked), Droid Pro Global (Band Unlocked)

    Motorola RAZR

RSDLite 4.6 Failed Flashing process. (0x7100)

    MotoCashe1 and all,

I rooted successfully but not with some issues getting the "start" button in RSDLit 4.6 to light up with the .SBF file listed in the OP. I followed the instructions’ to the "T" but no matter what I did the button would not light up except for 1 time. I tried doing the “space” at the end of the file name before the .sbf. This did not work. Tried just renaming it, nothing and tried moving the file and rename it, nope nada zip nothing worked per other posts in Droid Forums I was able to find searching. So in doing some research and using Google I was able to find a post to help me dig and figure out my issue to get the .SBF flashed to my phone per the instructions in MotoCashe1 OP.

Before I forget I am running windows 7 64 bit and installed the Motorola 64 bit drivers and RSDLite about 2 weeks ago. At this point I was ready to root until I discovered the issues being described in SBF Root and Unroot post. I waited to see how to work around these bootloop/kernel/recovery issues so I could learn a little bit, thanks MotoCashe1. Your attention to detail helps me a lot and am able to learn.

Now to my issue. At 1 point in my trying to flash the sbf I did get the "start" button to light up once. A this point when I click the button I got an error of "Failed Flashing process. (0x7100)". I did a search on Google and found a post here (being a newbie not sure I can do this link to another forum let me know if I am incorrect in doing this) and when I got to post number 32 by rezo, (just what I was looking for) I did what the post said and only needed to delete the "flasherrorlog" files in the RSDLite folder and restart RSDLite. At this point I was in business.

If anyone else has an issue getting the sbf in the OP to work with RSDLite please follow this (also in the post I found):

    From rezo's post:

Go into the directory you installed RSD Lite (for Win7 x64 the default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Motorola\RSD Lite\) and look for a file that starts with "FlashErrorLog". Open it, and if you see something like this:

    Code:
    Line: 865
    ERROR: \\?\c:\SPRecovery_ESE81.sbfwtƒyoþÿÿÿ‚qawñrawðiµ was not found.File: X:\test_dev_usb\flash\code\flashdll\PST_FP_FlashFi leIO.cpp

    Do the following:

    1. Go to the folder where you installed RSD Lite
    2. Delete any files that start with "FlashErrorLog"
    3. Right click on "SDL.exe" and click "Run As Administrator"
    4. Try step 9 (make sure you read and re-read step 10 first) again
    5. follow the rest of MotoCashe1 OP
This was all I needed to do. If it does not work for you please read the post I listed earlier.

To everyone at Droid Forum and MotoCashe1 for this post it is much appreciated.

EDIT: Provide the exact link the post I used to help me. The exact link is here.
