05-23-2011 04:07 PM"Catching the boot" means making the phone go back to the bootloader so you get a PASS.
Then when you reboot after you should be holding x+power to get to recovery to apply update.zip.

05-27-2011 04:30 AMWhat sbf file did you use originally? Sounds like you tried to use a 2.1 recovery sbf. You need to sbf with a fullfile. See my 2 previous posts for help.
