Let me see if i can explain this right...i follows all the steps, and on the
RSD Lite window i get PASS. The phone reboots, i hold the x button, get the gold droid guy... then...go to the installation of the update...says it is blocked, update aborted.

11-10-2010 08:05 PMLet's make absolutely sure you're in SPRecovery. Does it say patched by sir psycosis at the top?
If so, try downloading the file again, enabling USB mass storage, and copying it to the root of the SD card and trying to install it again. 11-12-2010 11:21 AMSo this works on the 2.2.1 Update? By brother has the Original Droid and has never Rooted it. I used this method when I rooted mine and it worked but that was a lot of updates ago.
